Just a little tillin' and some chicken!

 Well since it was such a beautiful day this past weekend hubby decided that it would be a perfect day to bring out the tiller and begin our first plow. Last year we only had 2 small gardens, But this year we are doing 3 bigger gardens. I plan on growing all my veggies and herbs that I will need for next winter.

All winter long we kept dumping all the smelly chicken poo into the gardens, It is alot cheaper, Last year we bought and dumped 400lbs of chicken poo poo. This year I got it free. I just love my chickens so much not only do I get eggs and dinner but I also get free fertilizer.

So hubby decided it was a perfect time for the kids to learn how to run the tiller. I figured they would whine but they were so excited.

Now the only issue was getting the tiller away from both of them.

While the boys were helping daddy Bean, Macayla and I decided it was the perfect day to take out our month old hatching's, Which are my sex link girls crossed with my Sussex rooster.

They had such a good time playing and enjoying the sun.

After plowing we all just sat and enjoyed the sun and the chickens!
